By accessing, downloading, installing, or playing Battle Among Regions ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Game.
If you access the Game through a third-party platform (e.g., Steam, Google Play), you are also subject to that platform's terms of service, which supplement these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Game. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
To access certain features (online multiplayer, deck saving, ranked play, the in-game shop), you must create an account with a unique username and password. You may optionally provide an email address for verification and password recovery.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to cheating, harassment, exploiting bugs, or any disruptive behavior.
When using the Game, you agree not to:
The Game offers optional cosmetic items for purchase, including card sleeves, playmats, and other visual customizations ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items are purchased using real currency through the applicable payment system.
The payment method depends on how you access the Game:
Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your region and platform. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Virtual Items are linked to your Battle Among Regions account. Cosmetics purchased on one platform are accessible on other platforms when logged into the same account.
Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for real money outside the Game.
For Steam purchases: refunds are subject to Steam's refund policy.
For direct purchases (Stripe): all purchases of Virtual Items are final. Due to the digital nature of the items, refunds are generally not provided once the item has been delivered to your account. If you experience a technical issue where a purchased item was not delivered, please contact us at BattleAmongRegions@gmail.com and we will investigate and resolve the issue.
Your statutory consumer rights under UK or EU law are not affected.
All content in the Game, including but not limited to code, graphics, card artwork, audio, text, game mechanics, and the name "Battle Among Regions," is the intellectual property of the developer unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Game content without prior written permission.
If the Game allows you to create content (such as deck names or display names), you agree that such content will not be offensive, infringing, or otherwise in violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content at our discretion.
If you are participating in a beta or early access version of the Game:
We strive to keep the Game available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Game may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We may release updates, patches, or changes to the Game at any time. Some updates may be required for continued play.
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Game, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Game.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it may be referred to the courts of the United Kingdom.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., via an in-game notification). Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
